Nigeria have qualified for the semi-final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, winning Angola 1-0 in the quarter – final match on Friday.
A first half goal by Super Eagles striker, Ademola Lookman, earned Nigeria the narrow victory over a spirited Angola.
The Atalanta winger turned in Moses Simon’s cross four minutes before half-time to give a Nigeria the only goal in the match. It is his third strike at the tournament, having netted a brace against Cameroon in the Round of 16.
Super Eagles will face the winner of the last-eight fixture between South Africa and Cape Verde in the semi – final.
